I bought my ‘77 Civic one year ago on Thursday. It’s taking a little longer than planned to get running:/
This is the car I’m taking inspiration from. Not exactly like this, but I really like this one.
God it takes patience to build a car oppo. Parts are expensive and shipping is stupid and they’re hard to find and nobody else cares about these cars so there isn’t any help anywhere.
Top this off with senior year of high school and progress is slow at best.
God I just want to drive it oppo

Right now getting the new carb installed. Rebuilding basically the entire brake system, there’s a massive oil leak, but I’m going to save that for another time. Very extensive bodywork repairs which I’m saving for a better time as well. It just needs some love

Yeah I’m doing new brake hoses and wheel cylinders on my Saab right now. Soon to do pads and rotors and shoes. Brake systems always go to hell when a car has been sitting.

I know it. I’m doing new booster, master cylinder, all lines, complete front assembly, and then just getting the drums in back unstuck. I’m not about to fuck with the drums
